Psychology
Psychology
is the science of individual or group behavior. The word
psychology literally means "study of mind." My particular
discipline in the school of social sciences is cognitive
psychology. Cognitive psychology is the study of thinking,
concept formation, and problem solving.
I have chosen to focus on aspects of neuroscience and memory.
During the 2003-2004 school year, I participated in memory research
with faculty member Dr.
Mark Steyvers. We researched aspects of false memory and
memory intrusion. I plan to continue to research with him this
upcoming school year.
